Чем больше я здесь нахожусь, тем больше мне нравится Финляндия.

Nothing happened today. I had tired again by so much walking.
The I'm staying here the more I like Findland.

Это классическая конструкция, используется, к примеру:
The more we learn the more we know
The more we know the more we forget
The more we forget the less we know
Therefore

Тут я точно не знаю, но, кажется, «on» надо выкинуть и, возможно, поставить during. И, кстати, совершённое время, то бишь Nothing happened. Вообще я бы сказал Nothing happened today.
